Natalie, a naturally driven and ambitious educator, made the decision to buy into the NumberWorks’nWords Franchise after starting as an English tutor while studying her primary teaching degree. Our Burnside franchisees Clyde and Kim, (married for 20+ years), decided to take the plunge during 2020 to starting their own NumberWorks’nWords Franchise. Knowing that they enjoyed working together and confident that they possessed complimentary skills to run a successful business. Kim, a passionate teacher with many years of experience and Clyde having a background in marketing and the desire to put the hard work in to building up the business.
Clyde says, “We wanted to get into something that was bigger and better and work full time together”. Kim says, “I was nervous, but I wish we’d done it earlier, it’s fantastic we are running our own business, we are loving it, we are loving what we do. I still have my passion of teaching, but at the same time we have the back up of the Franchisor. And we are building and getting bigger and better all the time”.

When Ranjeeta and Amitesh Sharma were students, they both had the experience of tutoring the younger generation – and loved it. Now they’ve turned their memories into their future. ‘We spent two or three years looking for a suitable business opportunity before we came across NumberWorks’nWords and we both felt this was a franchise that would fit with our values and support us in the way we needed.’
